Preschool

Our Goal :

To prepare children for a strong and successful academic journey.

Our preschool has been recognized city-wide as providing outstanding early childhood education to one of the most under-resourced communities in NYC. We consistently see our preschoolers graduate from our program well-equipped with tools they need to flourish in kindergarten and beyond.

We seek to accomplish this through:

Age-appropriate instruction that focuses on pre-literacy, pre-math,
and problem solving skills

Experiential learning environments that invite creative, exploitative,
and investigative thinking

Intentional social-emotional instruction that promotes emotional literacy, positive peer relationships, and resilience

We utilize an emergent curriculum that follows the current of children's interests, prior knowledge, and lived experiences. We also abide by the learning standards determined by the Department of Education's PreK foundation for the Common Core.
